Last night I had a 6 hour session to finish up the lead vocal parts to my album “An Alarming Rise”.Now that this is done, the mixing will start around the New Year.I’m very please with how the songs have turned out.Hopefully there will be no need to revisit this part of the recording process, but it is hard to say for sure.I’m exhausted today and my voice is very tired, but I feel this album should be enjoyable for everyone… so it makes it all worth while.
As most of you know I am going the independent route with my music.That being said there are positives and negatives.The positive part is that I have complete creative control of everything I record.The negative is lack of distribution to the retail outlets. The only way that you will be able to get a hold of my music is through digital outlets such as iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster and many more.I plan on having my music distributed to every single one.
If you plan on purchasing the physical CD you can do this at my store that will be located on my website (http://www.mattcode.com).A few people have asked me about preordering and I will be doing that.The store area of the website is in development and I will let you know when preordering will take place.The store will be highly secure so you will be confident in ordering and merchandise for my store.
