My rock concept album “An Alarming Rise” is nearing completion.  My producer Uri Djemal and I have been in the studio for quite some time placing elements and re-tracking vocals to point where we are satisfied with the outcome of the songs.  I am very pleased with how the album is starting to come together and I’m hoping to have it released before the year is out.

The first of a trilogy

Ever since I was a young kid it has been a dream of mine to create a concept album.  I grew up a fan of The Beatles, The Who, and Pink Floyd.  I also have been influenced by other bands such as U2, Radiohead and Led Zeppelin, but it was “Sgt Peppers”, “Quadrophenia” and of course “The Wall” as albums that made me want to become the story teller and not just the song-writer. 

“An Alarming Rise” is the first of the trilogy of concept albums, “The Sleeping City being the second album and “One Particular Fall” finishing the story.  This particular album as suggested in its title deals with the rising nature of world events, religious and political philosophies in a pre-9/11 world in both America and abroad and will in the third album dive into a post-9/11 world as “One Particular Fall”.   I do not want to go into detail about the upcoming albums, because some ideas may change a little, but I have started scratch tracking “The Sleeping City”.
